ROAD LINKS Molise is easily accessible through Motor way routes and wide super highways. There are three main motorways: The Pescara - Bari (A14) Exit south Vasto-Montenero (connection valley Bottom Trigno); and at Termoli (connection Bifernina). The Roma Napoli (A2) with exit at S. Vittore (Rome) or at Caianello (Naples); The Napoli-Bari (A17) with exit at Benevento. The Trignina and the Bifernina afford easy road links between the western border and the Adriatic; the valley bottom Tammaro liks Molise central to Benevento; the super highway Capua Venafro, Isernia -Vasto joins the Tirreno with the Adriatic, along whose coast runs the main rood 16. Coach company services link Isernia and Campobasso to sea-side locations and the mountains. No less efficient are the railway services which link the region to Naples Rome Pescara and Bari. From the part of Termoli, motor boats and hydro foils depart regularly for the Tremiti islands. |
