Curiosity

  • In 1861 Don Lorenzo Iacampo was elected deputy in the parliament, which was then in Torino.
  • Until 1899 water for domestic use could be obtained from the "Pistola" fountain by the entire population.
  • Up until 1965 the ground floor of the old Communal house was the site for a community theatre which accommodated about two hundred people in its audience and in the stalls.
  • The lime trees were put in place (Corso Umberto) in 1927.
  • Public illuminations were set up in 1908, with petroleum lamps.
