| Le famiglie Vinchiaturesi di Toronto,iscritte alla Societa'Cattolica
Sand Bernardino dei Vinchiaturesi,hanno ricevuto per posta consegnata
a domicilio l'invito del Parroco, del sindaco e del Comitato "VIA
CRUCIS IN BRONZO" di partecipare a questa meravigliosa iniziativa.
Purtroppo, la Societa' Cattolica San Beranrdino da Siena raccoglie
soltanto il 25% delle famiglie Vinchiaturesi emigrate e residenti
a Toronto. Ci auguriamo che questo appello proprio nell'anno del
Giubileo serva a riportare tutte le famiglie Vinchiaturesi di Toronto
nell'inner sanctum della Societa'e a rafforzare i nostri vincoli
col paese di Origine. Un grande applauso a Maria (Casale) Varriano
e a Domenico Marano ed il Comitato per aver saputo conservare le
tradizioni e i valori della Societa' San Bernardino che da 41 anni,
a Toronto, simbolizza la "ggente cch sente anchora la crijanza".

Grazie My father Liberato Spensieri was born in Vinchiaturo in 1940.
He came to the US in 1957 along with 3 of his brothers, Bernadino,
Luca and Eugenio. His other 2 brothers, Pasquale and Antonio settled

I am the son of Joseph Baratta, Born in Vinchiaturo 1919 son
of Pasquale Baratta & Maria D'Aquila. They Moved to Astoria
NY over 50 years ago. After reviewing the guest list with my dad

the mayor of Vinchiaturo during his recent visit to Toronto (thanks
to the generosity of the members of the S.C.S.B of Toronto. We also
had the pleasure of viewing his repulsive gurth on the wine bottles
that were placed on our table (and by the way...the chicken sucked).
As a captive member of the audience, I heard the mayor tell us to
"shut up or I will leave". In this country, we practice
"manners" when we give a speech to a crowd of fellow countrymen.
The mayor of Vinchiaturo does not have the tact and mannerisms that
are required by by dignitaries when giving public speeches. Vinchiaturo
is a beautiful town and its people are caring and warm hearted.
However, I was not informed by the S.C.S.B. of Toronto that the

Fiore is also from San Giuliano; my mother, Dorotea Colacchio, is
from Vianchiaturo. We’ve been in Montreal, Canada since 1966.
I am married to Caterina Scappaticcio (parents from the Lazio region).
We have two marvelous sons, Stephen (born 1988) and Mark (born 1989).

my parents were born in vinchiaturo in 1912 and 1920 my mothers
name was concetta de santis {mose} she came from la fontona monde
and my father bernardino murante came from lestripella. I understand that there are an abundance of Iacampos and Pistillis
in Vinchiaturo where my parents are from. My fathers name was Benny
Iacampo. He is now deceased. My mothers maiden name was Pistilli.
She will be 85 years old on Nov. 22nd. Where I grew up, in Cleveland
Ohio, we were the only Iacampo family I ever heard of. In my travels
around the world, compliments of the USMC, I looked in evey phone
book of every town I was in and never found another Iacampo family.
I thought we were the only one in the world, until the inner net.
Now I have found out that there are numerous families with the same
last name. I believe we are all related some way. It seems that
all the Iacampos come from Vinchiaturo. So all you cousins that
read this, drop me a line --- Marty Iacampo Sr My mother and father were born in Vinchiaturo. My fathers name
is Bernard Iacampo my mothers maiden name is Antoinette Pistilli.

Hello! My parents are from Vinchiaturo, and I was raised there
for a few years between 1948 and 51. My mother is Carmina Descenza,
her sister Rosa and Maria still live there. My father is Francesco
D'Aquila. I am sorry I can not write Italian. I love to hear stories
of my parents childhood and life in Italy. Chow Maria My grandfather John Ruberti ( my father's dad) came from Vinchiaturo
to the USA around 1905 or 1903. My grandmother on my father's side
was Ann Variano from the same area. The grandparents on my mother's
side were John Ranallo & Ann Pistilli from the same area. Has
anyone heard of any of these family members? I have made it to Roma
& Milan but didn't get to our family's birthplaces. Hope to
